How does Axial Shift's visual scheduler help managers spot staffing gaps?

Short answer

Axial's visual scheduler lays out coverage hour by hour, so managers spot gaps, overlaps and over-scheduling before they publish. The Visual Scheduler is an add-on to the Axial Platform.

What managers see

  • A coverage grid with total scheduled hours for each hour of the day, across all jobs
  • A coverage heat map against projected sales
  • Labor targets by sales per labor hour (SPLH)

Guardrails before publishing

Real-time guardrails flag gaps, overtime, availability conflicts and labor-plan misses while the manager builds, so problems get fixed before the schedule goes out.

Nothing gets lost

Axial saves restore points automatically: before an import, delete or clear, and about hourly while anyone is editing.

Pricing

The Visual Scheduler is an add-on app. Once you have the Axial Platform, you can add any app, and apps range from $10 to $35 per store per month. They're priced competitively because every app runs on one data structure and shares the same mobile app and website. See pricing.
