How does auto-scheduling work in Axial Shift?

Short answer

Auto-scheduling builds the schedule from your demand forecast and your rules, not last week's template. A manager, or your own LLM, reviews it before it goes out, so the manager stays in charge of the final schedule. Auto-Scheduling is an add-on to the Axial Platform.

Ways to build a schedule

Each brand picks the approach that fits its operation:

  • Build the schedule yourself
  • Pick a template
  • Let the forecast auto-select a template (Axial organizes templates by sales band)
  • Auto-build the schedule from your rules

What the rules respect

Availability, approved time off and job eligibility.

Review before it publishes

A manager, or your own LLM, reviews the auto-built schedule before it syncs to your POS.

The same logic at every store

Shared scheduling rules standardize how schedules are built across locations.

Pricing

Auto-Scheduling is an add-on app. Once you have the Axial Platform, you can add any app, and apps range from $10 to $35 per store per month. They're priced competitively because every app runs on one data structure and shares the same mobile app and website. See pricing.
