Can we use Axial Shift without employees on their phones during shifts?
Yes. Each store gets a secure display link for a TV or tablet in the back of house that shows contests, KPIs, the roster and upcoming breaks. Hourly employees can also use Axial on the web, so an app download isn't required, and the punch clock can run on a store tablet.
The back-of-house display
Each location gets its own display link to open on a TV, monitor or tablet. It shows:
- live contest leaderboards
- KPIs
- the day's roster
- upcoming breaks
Links can be shortened for device-management tools.
Clocking in
The punch clock can run on an Android tablet in the store, or employees can tap NFC stickers with their phones. You can use both.
Is the app required?
No. Hourly roles can do everything they need on the web. The free iOS and Android app is there for teams that want it.
