Can managers override or lock the sales forecast in Axial Shift, and can we see who changed it?
Yes. Managers can adjust the forecast for things they know are coming, such as a large party or a local event, and permissions control exactly who can make changes. You can lock the forecast by role, and Axial records every change, who made it and the reason they gave, so leaders can see why a plan moved and whether it improved accuracy.
Adjusting the forecast
Authorized managers can change projected sales for any upcoming day, with prior years' performance shown alongside so it's obvious when a number is out of line. The adjusted number then drives schedule templates and plan-versus-actual pacing in the Daily Guide.
Locking it down
Forecast editing is a permission like any other in Axial. Give it to GMs only, to regional leaders only, or turn it off entirely.

Using a corporate forecast
If finance owns the forecast, you can bring it into Axial by CSV or through the API, and Axial reports actual sales against it.
