Which payroll and HR systems does Axial Shift work with?
Axial Shift works with Dayforce, UKG, Paylocity and Workday, and can send payroll data to other systems through exports, SFTP or its API. Hours and overtime are assigned to the store where they were worked, so employees who work at several locations are charged to the right store.
Dayforce
Dayforce stays your source of truth. New hires, job changes, pay rates and terminations flow from Dayforce into Axial and your POS, and punches flow back to Dayforce for payroll.
UKG
Payroll exports match UKG's format. An employee who works at several stores can still be paid from their home location.
Paylocity
Axial produces a Paylocity pay-entry file with each employee's hours by store. Regular and overtime hours go to the location where they were worked.
Workday
POS punches can be mapped to Workday Position IDs, so payroll no longer means reworking spreadsheets.
Other systems
For any other payroll or HR system, Axial sends data through CSV exports, automated SFTP feeds or its API.
How is overtime calculated?
Axial's overtime calculations follow California rules.
Where do pay rates come from?
From your HR system or POS, through the employee sync. Labor dollars in Axial appear once wages are loaded there.
