Implementation

What does implementing Axial Shift look like?

Short answer

Most rollouts start with a 2 to 4 week pilot at 1 to 6 stores, then expand in groups or all at once. You get a dedicated implementation manager during rollout and a customer success lead after launch, and stores can start on current data while sales history loads in the background.

The usual path

  1. Kickoff: you name an internal champion, and we set a weekly check-in.
  2. Connect: we connect your POS and, if needed, your payroll or HR system. We check net sales, comps, discounts and voids against your own reports.
  3. Pilot: 1 to 6 stores for 2 to 4 weeks, with every role taking part, from hourly staff to payroll and IT.
  4. Rollout: groups of stores, typically 10 to 20 a week, or every store at once.
  5. Office hours: optional weekly sessions for about six weeks after launch.

What we ask of your team

  • Clean job codes and work email addresses in your POS. Axial roles are mapped from job titles.
  • Access to your POS and payroll integrations.
  • Time from your internal champion each week.

Training

We provide videos you can load into your LMS, written guides and live sessions. We can lead the training or support a train-the-trainer approach.

How fast can a large group go?
