Does Axial Shift support single sign-on (SSO)?

Short answer

Yes. Axial Shift supports single sign-on through OpenID Connect (OIDC), including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, at no extra charge. Setup usually takes about an hour once your identity team shares a few details.

What your identity team provides

  • The Issuer (Authority) URL
  • A Client ID
  • A Client Secret

You register Axial as an app in your identity provider. Axial gives you the redirect URIs and the login URL to enter there.

Which providers work?

Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and other identity providers that support OpenID Connect.

How does SSO work with permissions?

SSO controls who can sign in. Axial's role manager controls what each person can see and do once they're in, including which stores they can access.
