Integrations
Can Axial Shift feed our accounting or ERP system?
Short answer
Yes. Axial can send nightly sales files mapped to your accounting codes over SFTP, with an exceptions file for anything that isn't mapped. QuickBooks is also available as an add-on integration.
How the export works
- Sales are mapped to your GL structure by revenue center, sales category and meal period.
- Files arrive nightly in the format your system expects.
- Item IDs stay consistent across stores, even when the POS uses different IDs per location.
Business day
The business day rolls over at 3am local time by default, and you can change it to match your accounting.
Exceptions
Anything that isn't mapped, such as a new item with no category, goes into an exceptions file instead of being dropped. You can rerun an export yourself after fixing the mapping.
QuickBooks
The QuickBooks Integration add-on keeps financials aligned with operations without manual entry. See the pricing page.
